DAMOCLES submitted four contributions to the 2009 Sea Ice Outlook: Kauker et al. (ensemble I/II), Pemberton and Kaleschke & Haffmann.
Of a total of 14 contributions, one of the DAMOCLES contributions (Kauker et al. II (including winter initialization)) came closest to the real outcome (5.35 million square kilometers).
